what did you read in jan?

i completed six books (and started a billion others) in the first month of 2013. how about you?

i finished:
1) the age of miracles-- karen thomas walker
2) marianna-- monica dickens
3) tokyo on foot-- flourent chavouet
4) the dud avocado-- elaine dundy
5) back story-- david mitchell
6) look back in hunger -- jo brand

i can highly recommend the first four,  the age of miracles, in particular.

the other two are enjoyable, as you would expect british comedians' autobiographies to be, but they don't really stick with you. in other words, they're great reading for right before drifting off to sleep.
